A special anniversary deserves a special celebration.

To mark Formula 1’s 75th birthday in 2025, the usual pre-season script has been rewritten.

This year, every team on the grid will take part in F1 75 Live, a launch event bringing together all the important players for the season ahead.

Here's everything you need to know about grand opening to the 2025 season…

Where?

The F1 extravaganza will take place at London’s O2 Arena, on Tuesday, 18 February 2025.

At 20:00 GMT, it will be a case of lights out and away we go for the two-hour show.

What?

While F1 75 Live will bring together all the drivers, team principals and figures from the sport, teams are not expected to have their 2025 challengers on stage.

Instead, teams will reveal their liveries for the upcoming campaign, and all have been allocated a seven-minute slot to launch their colour schemes and designs.

You’ll be able to see Kimi, George, and Toto help unveil the W16 livery for the season in the second half of the show.

Who and How?

The two-hour show, hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, will feature performances from Kane Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, Take That, and Bryan Tyler - composer of the iconic F1 theme tune - in between the team launches.

Fans were able to purchase tickets for the event in advance, but for those unable to attend, F1's livestream of F1 75 Live will be available to watch in real time on our team website.

You’ll be able to see all the best behind-the-scenes action from our team’s day in London on our social channels.

What Happens Next?

Teams will depart the O2 and return to their factories to get ready for pre-season testing between 26 and 28 February.

Before that, our F1 W16 2025 challenger will be revealed to the world on Monday, 24 February.
