There Is No Sport Like This One

In Formula One, winning demands continuous, intense effort. That relentless pursuit of performance has always led to progress on and off the track. For us, sustainability is now inseparable from our drive to succeed, and every team member plays a role in achieving the ambitious targets we set ourselves.

We invest in our team, our technology and our planet with equal conviction. The challenges we are seeking to overcome require us to be at our very best. I have always believed that our car is only as good as the team behind it. Create the conditions, build the culture, back the right investments. Unlock something unstoppable.

This publication celebrates both our ambition to become one of the most sustainable global professional sports teams, and the commitment we’ve shown so far to achieving that goal.

Ambition gets you attention. Commitment earns you respect. I am proud to lead a team so capable of both.

Toto Wolff - Co-Owner, Team Principal & CEO

Formula One is one of the world’s fastest growing sports, and for good reason. Combining elite teamwork, cutting-edge technologies, high-performance management and exceptional driving skill, teams develop race cars capable of competing in a high-octane environment across five continents each season.

With millions of fans around the world, few organisations operate at this scale, in this spotlight. That reach and visibility comes with responsibility and a real opportunity to engineer change.

2026 isn’t just another season, it’s a turning point in our sport. With the introduction of more sustainable engines and fuel, Formula One has chosen to be bolder, braver and more innovative than ever before, reimagining not just the technology but racing itself.

Along with our partners, we’re here to redefine what it means to compete at the very top: pushing boundaries, engineering change and setting new standards for performance and innovation.

Our ambition is to become one of the most sustainable global professional sports teams.

This is sustainable high performance. This is racing without compromise.

Our Framing Principles

We’ve Reached an Inflection Point

In 2025, for the first time, our business grew while our net carbon emissions fell compared to the previous year. This marks an inflection point – a gear shift signalling that after years of effort, expertise and investment, our work to reduce our emissions is paying off.

A Plan, Not Just a Promise

To fulfil our ambition to become one of the most sustainable global professional sports teams, we will continue reducing our environmental impact while increasing our positive impact on people and planet.

This year, we published our first Climate Transition Action Plan - which sets out two ambitious carbon reduction targets and a pathway to achieving them: a near-term target to reduce total emissions by 42% by 2030, and a longer-term target to reach Net Zero across all scopes by 2040.

We’re All In

As a key player in an elite sport with a global footprint, we have both a responsibility to act and a platform from which to lead.

Reducing Our Footprint

  • We will do what it takes to drive down emissions across our operations, logistics and supply chain.

Increasing Our Brainprint

  • We will develop innovations that help other industries reduce their impact.

  • We will invest in ecologically significant locations and the communities we’re connected to around the world.

  • We will inspire millions of fans to connect sustainability with performance and to expect more from the brands they love.
