F1’s global reach is part of what makes our sport so special. We will keep working to drive down our emissions while increasing our positive impact.

Since 2022, we’ve reduced our logistics emissions by 46%, despite the weight of freight we move around the world increasing by 49%.

  • We’ve quadrupled our aviation emissions reduction

    • Flyaway races account for more than half the F1 season. In 2025, we quadrupled the volume of Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates we purchased (via a book-and-claim model) compared to 2022. In total, this equates to 30,688 tCO2 e emissions reductions over the same period, making it the primary driver of our emissions reduction.

  • We’ve cleaned up our road transport

    • Our race and marketing trucks have covered nearly 1.4 million kilometres on biofuel, avoiding 1,197 tCO2 e emissions between 2022 and 2025, compared to diesel. In 2025, we became the first team on the grid to use electric power to travel to a European race weekend.

  • Race after race, we give something back

    • In 2025, we welcomed hundreds of children, young people and community groups for trackside experiences. Every visit was shaped to their needs, whether that was a deep dive into our engineering for a group of aspiring scientists or a once-in-a-lifetime moment for a child facing serious illness.
