Team to Unveil Ultimate Paddock Experience at Goodwood

The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team is set to debut the ultimate paddock experience at Goodwood Festival of Speed (9-12 July), with a true-to-life F1 pitlane and garage getting fans as close to the racetrack as possible.

Inspired by the heart of our trackside home, this high-octane space is designed to bring our community together and deliver an unparalleled fan experience through a range of immersive offerings.

Located in the festival’s ‘F1 Pit Lane’ area, this space offers a dynamic open-plan format, allowing fans to move seamlessly from one area to the next. Our biggest presence at Goodwood to date, visitors will enjoy a state-of-the-art simulator space, authentic driver memorabilia displays, and a premium store stocking items from our recently announced Blue Wonder collection, team merchandise and limited-edition pieces designed for Goodwood Festival of Speed only.

Bringing these offerings together is our pitstop experience, where fans will be guided by current and former team mechanics to master the choreography and technical precision required to execute the elusive sub-two-second pitstop on our 2018 challenger, the W09. Opportunities to enter competitions, where fans can win the chance to visit our Brackley factory and other exclusive prizes, will also be available.

Alongside the debut of our brand-new fan hub – a concept which will continue into 2026 at races later in the season – our Third Driver Fred Vesti will be at the helm of the W13, delighting the Goodwood crowds by taking on the iconic 1.89km hillclimb through from Friday to Sunday. The W13, which secured George Russell’s first F1 victory at the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix, will be dressed in our striking 2026 livery.
